Tic Tac Toe Time

Photo-A-Day #3792

We did our back to school shopping tonight at Target and then took the kids to the new Red Robin at Patriot place. The previous building was torn down to make way for another hotel. The enw building is closest to overlooking the main gates of the stadium. We had a nice meal and the kids had fun. The restaurant now has these chalkboards that you can take to your table and play games or use to draw. The kids enjoy Tic Tac Toe and having it on the chalkboard was nice because they could play over and over again.

Back to school is right around the corner and even though it felt like last minute shopping we are ahead of the game. For now.

Dining Out Using the Red Robin Interactive Allergen Menu – $25 Gift Card Giveaway

Kid's Meals choices.

My family frequently visits Red Robin. Ever since I went to one in Vancouver, Canada I had been waiting to find one near me. This happened a few years ago at Patriot Place in Foxboro. We go often for birthdays because of the Red Robin Royalty program and the free birthday burgers. We also love the bottomless fries and freckled lemonade. We also like how well Red Robin handles Andrew’s milk allergy. Every time we go in and we let our server know about his allergy they are very attentive to our needs.

Pretzel Bites

We recently went for another meal at Red Robin after checking out the Interactive Allergen Menu at the Customizer Hub. The Red Robin information and gift cards have been provided by Red Robin. This is a new area of the Red Robin site that gives you menu suggestions based on allergens that you want to avoid. Allergens that you can choose from are Milk, Eggs, Gluten, Wheat, Fish, Shellfish, Peanuts, Tree Nuts and Soy. It is a very easy to use tool. Little Action Hero

Photo-A-Day #3657

Today was a very, very busy one. I did not get to sleep at all because I not only had my yearly physical but also had Taxes to be finished. I don’t know why I put both of these off until the very last minute. But, I do. But now we are another year away from all that fun once again.

After all that was done I picked Andrew up from Jenny’s house and took him up to Patriot Place where we would meet with Allison and Eva. I was sent some gift cards for Red Robin for a post next month. We had a nice meal and some fun. I got some great photos of Andrew running all over the place, climbing the walls and more. So many fun shots with the NX1.

Today was one long adventure day for the family. We started off with a trip to Hasbro Children’s Hospital to have a follow up regarding Eva’s legs. She’s had to wear a bar, boot and braces every night for almost a year and a half. We met with the doctor covering for her usual doctor and she was pleased to tell us that Eva no longer needs to wear that stuff to bed, her legs look great and her in-toeing has been corrected. She was so excited.

Our plan today was to go to the doctor’s visit and then head to Biomes for the afternoon. Biomes opens at noon and so we had some time to kill. We went over to the Roger Williams Park to play in the Hasbro playground. Continue reading Full Adventure Day

Family Night Out Celebrating Birthdays and Oktoberfest at Red Robin

Photo-A-Day #3100

I was provided with a $50 gift card to check out the Oktoberfest menu at Red Robin and also a $50 gift card to give away. Opinions are 100% my own.

Since I’ve done many Man Date posts for Red Robin I’ve been posting press releases about the Red Robin offerings from time to time. I recently posted about the Oktoberfest menu and wanted to try it out. I asked for a gift card so I could do another Man Date but we couldn’t get the logistics together. So instead I changed it to a Family Night so we could celebrate Eva’s birthday and also Oktoberfest. Continue reading Family Night Out Celebrating Birthdays and Oktoberfest at Red Robin

The Red Robin Oktoberfest Bürger is back

Oktoberfest Bürger

After so many Man Dates at Red Robin I’ve gotten onto the press release list to learn about all the newest offerings. While I’m no fan of the Oktoberfest Bürger, the only extra meat I want on a burger is bacon or another burger, I am a fan of bratwurst and I really want to try the new Brew-Battered Brats and probably pair that with a Spiced Pumpkin Pie Shake.

Brew-Battered Brats
I really want to try these Brew-Battered Brats and kettle chips

Fall Drinks
Can’t think of anything better to wach down my Brew-Battered Brats than a Spiced Pumpkin Pie Shake

Man Date 3 – The Wolverine and Berserker Burgers at Red Robin

Photo-A-Day #3035

Tonight me and my buddy Mike went out for Man Date 3. We received four $25 gift cards from Red Robin Burgers to use for our Man Date. Two of those cards were for us to use and two to give away. Opinions about Red Robin Gourmet Burgers are 100% our own. Want to see how much fun we had, read on! Continue reading Man Date 3 – The Wolverine and Berserker Burgers at Red Robin

Snikt! I’m ‪Wolverine‬. If You’re Smart You’ll Take the ‪Pez‬.

Photo-A-Day #3026

In my most recent Loot Crate I got a Pez dispenser with Wolverine’s head on it. This coming weekend the new movie The Wolverine is coming out and I’ll be seeing it with my pal Mike. Over the past few years Mike and I have gone on a series of Man-Dates to Red Robin. Well, we are going back again and this time we’re being sponsored by Red Robin directly in the form of a $50 gift card so we can try out some Wolverine inspired items. We’re also going to be tweeting and posting photos to Instagram plus we’re giving away 2 $25 gift cards as well!

When I opened the Pez dispenser I discovered that you can visit the Pez factory and it is close to us (relatively) in Orange, CT. I think we need to do a family adventure there sometime. It would be fun for the kids, and of course, me.

Happy 4th Birthday EvaBoo

Photo-A-Day #2376

Eva turned four today, at 12:04pm. She knows this because when she woke up this morning she told Allison that she was still 3 and wanted to know when she would be four. When I came home and picked her up to take her out for birthday breakfast she told the waitress that today was her birthday and she would be four, she wasn’t four quite yet though. And later when she went with her Aunties (Tara and Shelby) to the zoo she asked if she was four yet. The kid cracks me up. Continue reading Happy 4th Birthday EvaBoo
