We were given access to an advanced screening of Back to the Outback last weekend. Opinions are our own.
Andy loves animals. He wants to be an animal rescue specialist when he grows up. So, we watch anything and everything about animals. Back to the Outback is a story about some of the most dangerous animals in the world. Set in Australia We have a band of dangerous animals who want to get back to the outback to their families. They have been living in a zoo until a tragedy occurs. Then they decide to break out. Along the way they end up with a cute koala named Pretty Boy. He is the star attraction of the zoo and has no desire to escape. Along the way he learns a lot about himself and the rest of the animals get the strength and confidence they need to continue on the journey.
The movie is cute silly fun. Very entertaining for the kids and for us grown ups there are plenty of jokes. There is even a sentimental nod to The Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. I got a big kick out of the movie and really enjoyed watching it. It is on Netflix now. Check out the trailer.
