Win a Copy of Disney’s The Lion King on Digital for Movies Anywhere

Disney's The Lion King

I was provided a digital copy of Disney’s The Lion King (The Live Action One) for free to give away. They also gave me one to use so I could watch the movie myself and give you my thoughts. Opinions are my own.

The Lion King is one of my all time favorite animated movies. I was interested to see the take on the movie in a live action format. With lifelike lions and animals and an almost entirely new cast. Some folks are reprising their roles and we have some new people in iconic roles. Namely Timon and Pumba. Those guys were the funniest characters and Nathan Lane is amazing. Billy Eichner does his level best to bring that role to life as his own and I think he did an amazing job. The movie is visually beautiful and the photrealistic animals are spectacular. I enjoyed the movie very much and am happy to be able to give a copy to you. Please enter below through the Rafflecopter app.

  1. But my favorite would be Rafiki. He seems to have the most energy and sight in the orginal movie. Hope it’s TRUE for the live version.

  2. Scar has always been my favorite – scheming, Shakesperian villain that he is – but my highlight of this new film was Timon and Pumbaa. They really sold the second half of the movie and their “Beauty and the Beast” gag was incredible.

  3. Scar, he’s malicious and very serious. He reminds me of my dad, and when we used to watch the original together. I’m pretty sure he would be compared to Scar as well. 🙂 Thanks for the chance. 😉

  4. Timon and Pumba were my favorite characters in the original and I heard they make this movie, so I can’t wait to see it, hopefully I win. Thanks for an amazing opportunity.

  5. My favorite Lion King character is Simba because of his character’s journey. I love that his introduction and final shot of the movie take place on the same spot, Pride Rock.

  6. Simba. Even though he thinks he has done this horrible thing he comes back and faces everything and everyone.

  7. I loved Pumbaa in the animated classic and I am very much looking forward to seeing his character in the live action.

  8. The hyenas in the animated version were my favorite, especially Ed! The banter between them was funny!

  9. I always related to Simba because he was young and had to deal with the weight of his father’s death. Such a strong character.
