Modarri Adds New Cars and Body Packs

Photo-A-Day #3777

We received two new Modarri cars and three new Modarri Body Packs to play with and review. I have been a fan of these cars since the Kickstarter campaign and have reviewed them many times. I was excited to see these new sets at Toy Fair this past February and could not wait to get my hands on them. I am excited that the kids are so interested in playing with these cars. They are so much fun and so well made. Anyone I know who has ever played with the Modarri cars has been impressed. I made a quick video all about the new cars and body packs.

Eva, Andrew and I Created 9 Modarri

We opened the new cars today and also took out the seven cars that we already had. I also had additional pieces from the Kickstarter campaign and I even have three more cars on my desk at work. So I actually have 12 cars at this point. Each car that I have can be registered at Modarri.com at the My Garage area.

Andrew Guided me to Building these Modarri

With nine cars and the extra parts we had so many options for making new cars. First it was just Andrew and I playing with the Modarri cars. Eva was off with her friend and Andrew and I got some time together. I took the three body pieces off of each car and then had Andrew pick the chassis and the three body pieces that he wanted me to use to make new cars. The image above is of the eight cars that I made with him. We hadn’t opened the S1 Cruzer yet because we were going to do that with Eva.

Some new Modarri Fire Body Parts

I was excited most about the X1 Fire body pack. I liked how that looked and wanted to create a car using those pieces. It is a great idea on the part of Modarri to start putting their name on the car and pieces. Makes for great name recognition.

More Modarri

I was having fun with my fisheye lens and snapped this shot of some of the cars that we made the second time around. When Eva came home from her playdate I let her open the S1 Beach Cruzer. She assembled the whole thing herself and then had me disassemble the rest of the cars. So I took them all apart down to the chassis with the two suspension pieces. I didn’t take those off except for two cars because I wanted to have all the primarily black pieces for a Modarri that I think Batman would drive.

`What Modarri would Batman Drive

Wouldn’t Batman enjoy screaming around Gotham in this Modarri car?

Once the kids completed their cars they then had me take out the 21 orange cones that came with my earlier cars so they could build a track. At first they wouldn’t work together to build one track so I had to separate them and give them each 10 cones. Eventually they worked things out and were able to race around on one track together. With so many possibilities for creating new cars the kids are going to have so much fun playing again and again.
