My sister Tara was awarded the Young Alumni award from North Attleboro High School. As a family we went over to the Highland Country Club for the awards ceremony. It was a very nice celebration of people who have given some terrific service to the North Attleboro Community. It was a great feeling being in a room fully of people who’s passions gave them the strength and courage to be of service to North Attleboro.
| I’m very proud of my sister. She’s done so many things to help so many people and really deserves the accolades that she received. Here service to the community is excellent. She is involved in so much around the town too. Her compassion for animals is well known and she’s part of the group that started Friends of North Attleboro Animal Shelter and the Bow Wow Meow Luau. Not to mention the numerous strays she’s brought in over the years. It was also nice to see so many of Tara’s Mentors and friends being honored tonight as well including her Cross Country coach.
