This morning Allison and I went to West Falmouth Harbor to go paddling. I took a bunch of pictures while we were there and uploaded them to Flickr and posted about this on The Wired Kayaker. Check those places out for additional photos.
After we visited our friends Kim and Greg at Cape Cod Kayak.
While I was on the water I heard, or rather felt, my cell phone go off. I always have my cell phone set to vibrate because I am easily annoyed by other people’s cell phones and their obnoxious ring tones. When a cell phone is set to vibrate at it is in a drybag on the floor of my kayak it makes the whole thing vibrate. I told Allison about that and there was a guy who was unloading his boat. He said that that attracts fish. I will have to try that sometime when I try to fish from my kayak.
The phone call was from Andy and Rondi. They came over int he afternoon and visited with us. They brought Stephen The Dog with them. Did you know that Stephen The Dog is a canine power blogger. It is true, Stephen The Dog is blogging to pay Andy back for all the things he has eaten or damaged.
I got a photo of Stephen The Dog through the screen door. I know that is no way to treat a power blogger of Stephen’s caliber.
We went to the beach and I took a nap so I’m not sure about everything that was said. We had a great time hanging out with them and look forward to seeing them at SB^3, Stephen’s Blowout Birthday Bash. Should be a good time. Well, time to get off the computer for dinner. Have a great memorial day tomorrow everyone.
I can’t believe how much better the climate is where you are. Flowers haven’t even barely started in Toronto yet, and you guys are already out on the water.
Have you figured out a way to post to your blog when you’re out on the paddle boat? 🙂
Wow, that sky looks a little threatening. We have had massive rain in Texas this holiday weekend.
Stopping by for C&C Monday. Have a great week.
It was actually a pretty nice day, I think I made it a little to threatening with PhotoShop tweaks. Thanks for the visit.
Hi David, thank you for the comment. You may want to check out The Wired Kayaker. I am going to try and do some podcasts on the water. As far as transmitting and blogging from the water, that may be difficult but I can Twitter from the water.
