Today Allison and I were at the Cape. I helped Dad move a bunch of old metal spring beds out to the truck for the scrap yard. It is time to do some cleaning out around the house.

Allison and I spent a little time at the beach and I began reading a kayaking book called Adventure Kayaking on Cape Cod and The Islands. Since I started working on The Wired Kayaker blog I have become very excited in reading all I can about places to paddle, that way I can be more interesting in the podcast. I showed my parent’s the podcasts today and they liked them but if I paddled slower I would be able to be heard better. I appreciate all the comments everyone has given me on the videos. I hope that tomorrow is the day that the story is in the paper.

This afternoon we headed up to Dennis, MA to Corporation beach. We went up there because it was my Grandmother’s surprise birthday party. My Aunt’s arranged the party and Aunt Cindy made a huge pot of clam chowder and Aunt Corrine got clam cakes from Captain Frosty’s. Everything was delicious. And Grandma was very surprised.

Corporation Beach was also a very nice place to take pictures. I took a bunch of photos of my cousins and my cousin’s son on the swings. I have a bunch to send to the family. And I will very soon.
