Today Eva went for a nice long walk around the block. Allison is still recovering from the birth so it was a nice slow walk around the block. Of course, while I was walking I was also snapping photos and I added many to the Eva gallery on Flickr.
while we walked around I saw a very elaborate Halloween display at the top of the street. Here is that photo.
It must have taken these guys quite some time to get the decorations up in that tree. It certainly is one of the more decorated houses on the street.
Our sleep habits are still pretty off but Eva is sleeping better. I am going to leave you with and additional photo from 4:19am today. this is when I took Eva to the nursery and changed her and put her in her crib. When I came out and shut the door, Oliver was sitting on my paperwork staring directly at my stackable file holders and subsequently the wall to Eva’s nursery. He must have been guarding her well being.
There were many other things that went on today but I will have to update you with those happenings tomorrow.
Well, so much for that old wives’ tale about how cats supposedly suck the lives out of babies! Some people actually still believe that.
Maybe Ollie really was guarding Eva’s nursery. Cats are very perceptive about a lot of things.
It was such a nice day to get out and walk…a nice, crisp fall New England day. Glad you got to enjoy it!
Oliver has been very interested in Eva. He’s spending time outside her door. And he also spends time close to her when he can. When she gets older he will probably want to sleep in her crib and protect her too. We’re keeping a very close eye on his interaction with her.
She looks so cozy in her carrier.
Snug as a bug in a rug for sure.
Eva is adorable in that picture. She looks so cozy.
The Halloween decorations look like fun. It seems that everyone around my little town has lost that spirit. I have yet to see decorations around…. maybe it’s a little early. Great pics.
Awww, adorable picture of mother and child. I cannot wait to have one of my own. The Halloween decorations look good in spooky too. Good luck on your journey to 1,000,000!
Yeah she stays pretty cozy on her walks. Now that we walk around the block more often we definitely see that there are many people decorating. That house is exceptional however.
Thanks technogeek, I’m sure that I will get to 1,000,000 moments of photographic evidence of the beauty of our little girl.
Love the pink! October, Eva: perfect! The sun shining on her face is beautiful.
Thanks, that was the big reason I picked this image, it was the sun on her face.
