This was the little pink hat that Eva got at the hospital. I loved how it looked on her. Then she went tot he nursery and it disappeared. I asked on of the nurses and she brought us back two more. Then the original one came back. I was playing with the focus on this one.
Because we didn’t want to know the sex of the baby till she arrived most things were green and yellow. Now Eva has more pink than I have ever seen.
Congratulations on the birth of little Eva. Someone made her a wonderful little hat, lucky it turned up again. I hope you will get enough sleep soon.
so adorable–we kept all of our caps of our children–great momentos. Happy Saturday to you and your new family.
Nice color combination. My daughter’s got one like that when she was born too, all yellow. But then again, until now, I buy her bonnets (or what they call beannie these days) of different colors.
They never did hats when my kids were babies, but I love their function and appearance on the little ones now. I bet the babies appreciate the warmth, too.
great idea for pink.
Babies and their attire are the coolest.
A very neat pink photo!
Thanks JMB,
People at the place where Allison knits make these hats for the babies in the nursery. She has done quite a few herself. Sleep hasn’t been great but soon.
Hi Miles,
Thanks very much. We ended up with three hats from the hospital and Allison has made many more as well. They are nice mementos.
Hi Lynn,
I think that is why I liked this hat so much, it wasn’t just pink it had some other colors within the pattern. Thanks for dropping by.
Andree,
The hats are from volunteers who knit them, Allison does them once a month. The knitting group meets at panera bread and knits hats for a couple of hours for the hospital. I love the little hats on Eva’s head, she just looks so cute with them. A friend of ours just sent a knitted pumpkin hat, so cute.
Anni,
Thanks very much and welcome to my blog, I appreciate that you stopped in to comment, hope you come back.
Snoopy,
Thanks for visiting and commenting.
Thanks Amy,
Eva has gotten so many pink things so far but I haven’t photographed all of them yet. This was one of my favorite hospital photos.
I love the composition of this picture. A good one and i’m sure that pink hat will look so cute on Eva.
Have a good weekend!
Pearl
That’s a very cute little pink hat. 🙂 People do seem to love dressing little girls in pink, but yellow, green and blue look lovely on them too. 🙂
Thanks Pearl. I liked how the focus was on the hat but clearly we could also see Eva. I appreciate the comments and welcome you to my blog, please come back in the future.
Hi Dragonheart.
Eva has many items of clothing that are pink, purple, blue and green. Because we wanted the sex to be a secret. Now that the secret is out she has plenty of pink, but she still has a nice mix. Thanks for dropping by.
That’s a pretty little hat. Baby girls certainly seem to generate a huge amount of pink stuff, don’t they? Have a great weekend!
They certainly do generate tons and tons of pink stuff. Just tons of it.
What a cute, cute little hat!
Thanks Barbara. It was my favorite, non Allison made, one.
Awwwwww tooooo sweeeet!!
Thanks very much Secret Agent Mama! I thought it was. I appreciate the visit.
I love the colours in the hat and the photograph is lovely with baby Eva in the background.
Sara from farmingfriends
Thanks Sara, I like the colors as well. I was playing with the focus to make the hat in focus and Eva out of focus. I like how it turned out.
