Paper, man I love to read. between Allison and I we have tons and tons of books. All made from paper. Happy hunting.
Another Item Made with Paper is my 2008 Photo-A-Day Calendar that I am selling to raise money for a former classmate and her family. My goal is to sell 100 of them before November 24th (the date of my 15 year reunion), so I can give her and her family a check for $200.00.
Good choice with your books. Happy Hunting.
great shots of books…mine is up at MY TWO CENTS WORTH hope you visit me.
I’m afraid I’m drowning in books too. I see you have them on the floor too. Good choice for the theme. So many books, so little time.
Yep…we here st Chez Ailurophile have a lot of books, too. I have over 500 cookbooks alone…I stopped counting after 500. It’s probably up to 600 by now.
And that doesn’t include the OTHER books that we have around here. And then there are the ones we either gave away or put into storage.
That’s a LOT of books!
Wow 600 cookbooks. We have a lot of them as well but we don’t hardly use them right now.
Thanks Cindy and welcome to the BenSpark, I appreciate the comments. Happy Hunting.
Hi Lutchi, thanks very much for the visit and the comments. I’ll be paying your blog a return visit. Welcome to the BenSpark
Well, you will be happy to hear that the books are safely in a set of shelves. We are not drowning in books any longer but we do have a ton of them still. And the baby has a ton too, and he/she hasn’t been born yet.
I am in the process of developing a new system for blogging while working (stay up all night? I don’t know, but I’ll figure it out!). You are so giving to do this for that family. I’m checking out the calendar now.
Thanks Meeyauw. I really hope that I can raise my goal and help them even if it is just a small drop in the bucket. Being a soon-to-be Dad I can’t imagine how hard this whole thing has been for the Machinskis. I am going to have to find a balance for blogging soon. Doing alot of it. This whole weekend is going to be about blogging. Check out my updates from CollegeFest.
Ben, you’ll have to come by my blog and do a search about my book inventory that I’ve been doing. I think I’m up to 831 books or some ridiculous number like that ;~)
Great idea for today’s theme and I see some books there that I’ve either already read or have in-waiting!
Happy weekend and good luck with your calendars! I keep telling myself every year that I’m going to make calendars and I’ve yet to do it lol
Wow, that’s a lot! We do have a lot of books too, most of them I got from used books store because I’m s cheapskate, I mean, I’m practical. New books are quite expensive. Hmmm..I’m looking at some familiar book covers there in your collection.
How sweet of you to raise money for a former classmate. Hope everything will go as planned.
Have a great weekend, Drew 🙂
Hi Deb,
I will have to check that out, sounds like an impressive collection. Many there on the floor I have read, some have gone to good homes and some have been released to the wild through BookCrossing.com
Thanks for the wishes on the calendar.
Hi TeacherJulie, Welcome to my blog. I appreciate the comments. And I hope I do well raising the money for the Machinski.
Nice one Drew, those books look like they could have come off our book shelf as I recognise many of them. Hope you tidied them up before going to CollegeFest.
Cheers Mark
Thanks very much Mark. The books were tidied up long ago. They all have homes. 🙂
That’s a lot of books! I don’t have that many but my little girl has a lot!! 🙂 Great photos for this week!
I love the read too. A great selection of books.
Your calendar is fabulous and I am going to buy one right now!
Sara from farmingfriends
Thanks Blur Moomy, I appreciate the comment. This was a photo from when we set up the home office. I went through all the books like the anal retentive Type A that I am and ordered and organized them all.
Thanks Sara. I really appreciate that you would buy one of my calendars. That is so nice. Please tell your friends and help me help the Machinskis. Thanks.
