Duncan is using his sniffer on Eva, although she is not at all smelly, but to a kitty she is a ton of new smells to explore.
I appreciate all the comments that everyone has left for me. Even though this is rather far away from Eva and Duncan I do like how the lighting came out. Sometimes home lighting can be tricky but for this shot is was easy because we have yet to put up our blinds, shades or other items so the sunlight streams right into the windows each day and early evening. We need to get the curtains and blinds up soon. Now that the baby is here we should think more about keeping the house warmer and shades on the windows will help that out more.
I love the smell of newborns. Congratulations :o)
You did a great thing introducing them like this. I remember all of this excitement and exhaustion and confusion the first weeks. I’m glad you are recording all of it!
I love this picture. My dog, Lalita, was mildy curious about Aiyana when she came home a little over four years ago. ๐
Great take on the theme. I have enjoyed each of your photohunt shots since I found them but last week for some reason I couldn’t figure out how to comment. I’m glad I figured it out as I wanted to tell you that I think your shots are always so good. Take care.
Hi Drew,
You will have plenty of opportunities for smellys, they will be either spreaders or lumpies, pure delight….
Cheers Mark
Congratulations on the birth of Ava! My photo is up, please visit when you can
congratulations!! what a beautiful photo.
Newborns smell so good. Congratulations! Have a good weekend.
Yeah I agree, the smell great. Never knew the attraction before we had little Eva.
Andree,
We did a lot of reading of books and paying attention in class. Each night I would bring home something that the baby had worn and I would let the cats smell it. Then when we came home Allison went in first and then I came in with the baby.
Thanks vegan Momma,
Oliver and Duncan have been very curious. They do not want to be away from the action.
Welcome Carver, I appreciate your visit. I do hope you return.
Soon enough, soon enough, Mark.
Thanks Becci, We are very excited about Eva’s birth. she is a joy.
Thanks Miles,
Glad you like the photo, I thought it went well with the theme.
Thanks kissedalotatoads, the smell of a new baby is wonderful. Eva is just such a love.
Great photo…and I agree with many others, there’s nothing like smelling a newborn.
My PH is up too.
