Photo-A-Day #3816

I was very surprised today to find that my pre-ordered Skylanders SuperChargers Starter Packs arrived a day early. I was able to play the game for a couple of hours today and get a feel for the new vehicles and characters. I woke up early afternoon and found the package on the porch. I immediately went and made an unboxing video so I could get to playing. I had the Elgato video capture running, too so that I could get some gameplay videos made at a later date. My unboxing video is below.

The first time out of the gate being able to play the Wii U gamepad was fun. I played part of the adventure, some races and then started adding my existing figures to the game. For new characters they get placed on the portal and are automatically added to your collection. For existing figures you have to change the ownership. So. I would do a couple of figures, play some more, then add a couple more figures. I’m going to try and put all of them in the game before Allison and the kids return home. I also added all the traps that I have to the game. I didn’t buy all of them but they do add a little something to the game. If you have a trapped villain you get a Skystone from those villains.

I had two additional vehicles to unbox today.
