I finally got to get on the water this morning. I got up and out of the house a little after 7am. I made my way over to Falls Pond. My boat was already on my roof rack as it had been all week long. I’ve been wanting to go kayaking all week long and Tuesday was the day I was going to do it but it poured that day, so no kayaking for me. then Wednesday came and more rain, Thursday more rain as well. Ultra Macro – I Think I Pushed as Far as it is Going

The other day I put extension tubes on my Nikon D80. Then I asked the question of whether or not I should add the Close up Filters to that setup as well. So, Today at Souther New England Media Makers I put on the Extension Tubes, Close up Filters and the Macro Add on Lens. I shot a few things including the color place mat at breakfast and a crocus in the front yard. The thing about using the tubes is that you need to have a lot more light. shooting outside is fine but shooting inside I used the Sima light. Outside I think I had too much light but because I was shooting practically on my stomach and not seeing very well what I was getting I tried and shot, tried and shot.
