Hulk and Thor’s Excellent Adventure in the THOR: RAGNAROK Trailer

Thor ragnarok

Thor and the incredible hulk are not known for their big brains. They are more known for smashing things first, asking questions later. Well, maybe not asking questions, more like having quizzical looks on their faces. The THOR: RAGNAROK trailer was released at San Diego Comic-Con and it looks like a high stakes super fun trip through space. This trailer has everything in it. Explosive action, humor and heart. These are some characters that you care about and having Thor and Hulk finally have a movie together may solve the problems that viewers have had with the solo Hulk and Thor movies. These guys are unstoppable forces and they play off each other so well. They are matched in a fight, they are both not that bright and they bring great humor to the MCU.

THOR: RAGNAROK puts these two guys on a journey to save Asgard from Hela and her minions. It also puts them in a collision course with each other in the Grandmaster’s coliseum. Along the way they pick up allies in Valkyrie and Loki. Doctor Strange is set to appear in the movie as well but in what role, I do not know.

There is a feel of a budy movie to this one along the lines of an 80’s buddy movie where you have two tough guys, sort of like the Tango and Cash of the MCU. And, you know what, Maybe it was my subconscious mind that thought of that because Stallone and Russell were in Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2. You can see the trailer here.

The movie poster was also released. You can see that and more movie details below.

Milkshakes
Photo-A-Day #4432

Today was Eva’s final performance for her Hullabaloo theater group. Our friend Nicole runs the program out of her house for 8 weeks and at the end of it the kids have a performance at An Unlikely Story. Eva has been in the program a couple of times now and it is really nice. The kids learn about some history, some acting, singing and performing. They sang some covers, original songs and then did some theater and performance games. I was very impressed with how Eva was on stage. She is showing more poise and confidence with each new performance. She also added in some ballet moves as that is something that she loves and has been doing since she started dance. She also incorporated Hip Hop dancing into the performance. We could hear her because she is projecting better, too.

After the performance Allison had to go to the Eighth Grade Dinner and I took the kids to KC’s Classic Burger Bar where it was Kid’s Night which meant that there were free milkshakes with the purchase of every kid’s meal. I got an Oreo one and the kids split a Chocolate Cookie Dough one. It wasn’t quite a huge hit with the kids but they did like them.
