Today was The 57th Annual DANA Santa Parade and it was the first one that Eva got to participate in. She rode in a truck with some of her classmates from dance class. You should have seen how excited she was leading up tot he parade and her excitement was so visible on her face when we all ran across the street to take her photo. She was beaming from ear to ear as captured in today’s photo. Even with it being so cold and her sitting for a long time in the bed of a truck she was still very excited to be a part of the parade.
Today was not only Thanksgiving but it was also Andrew’s first birthday. He came home from the hospital on his first Thanksgiving and on his second one he nearly ate and entire turkey (okay, maybe not that much but he packed it away). That boy can eat, and smile and laugh and he took four unaided steps today too. I can’t believe how much he has grown and changed in one short year. I am so thankful that I took (and Allison also) a photo each day of him during his first year. I set up his own ShutterCal calendar and used the ShutterCal app to quickly snap photos and post them each day all year long. It was a great way to do it. Continue reading A Very Thankful Birthday→
