Today we went to the Cape and celebrated my nephew’s first birthday. It was a beautiful day filled with laughter and family. My nephew is such a little cutie and he’s walking now plus he crawls like a champ, super fast. He and Andrew are going to give us all a run for out money in a few years. Fast friends and little imps.
My sister made an amazing construction cake. It had construction vehicles hauling around dirt and she even made pieces of broken up road out of brownies. Today was Andrew’s First Birthday Party. His actual birthday is on Thanksgiving day so we are a little early. Friends and family came to celebrate with us. Andrew was looking all dapper in his Argyle sweater vest and fancy shoes. We made sure to cover him up when he ate his dinner and his cake though.
Allison baked him a special “Smash Cake”. I guess that this is the big thing right now. Even the cake that we ordered from BJs could be made into a smaller “Smash Cake” for Andrew.
