Building LEGO Friends

Eva and I built her LEGO Friends set today. This is actually the only LEGO friends set that she has. Most other sets we have are LEGO City, Master Builder Academy, LEGO Dinosaurs and LEGO Super Heroes. She loves the set and she likes the little girl figures that go with it. I bet she would really like even more of them.

Speaking of LEGO, I’ve been playing LEGO Batman 2 on the Wii. It is a fun game with a bunch of cool puzzles to complete. I haven’t played any previous LEGO games before so I’m getting used to the controls and the things that you can do in the game. Driving vehicles is tough to keep them straight. Wish the game was on the Wii U and you could use the gamepad to steer.

A quiet morning around the house. I played Skylanders on the Wii U. Loaded all the figures into the game and then leveled up Swarm (Eva’s favorite one) on the gamepad. Eva was at my parents and we were picking her up in time to go see the movie Wreck-It Ralph at the Cinema Pub.

When we picked her up she had to show us that she was wearing a pretty pink dress. This was the dress that my sister Tara wore as a Junior Bridesmaid at my Aunt’s wedding. Eva loved wearing it and playing dress up. I made the Instagram photo look like it was the 70’s. You know, the era from when that was last worn. Continue reading Day of Play →
