LEGO Worlds is Adding Monsters in the Next DLC Pack

LEGO Worlds Monsters Classic Space DLC

I’m pretty excited to learn that the LEGO Worlds game is coming to the Nintendo Switch on September 5th. That is awesome! Once I can get it I can check out everything the game has to offer including some fun DLC packs like the Classic Space Pack. I’ll have to wait a bit longer for the Monsters DLC pack to arrive but that is happening in October. You can read all about it below.

LEGO Worlds Adding “Monsters” DLC Pack for Strange and Spooky Adventures with the Undead
Nintendo Switch Release Confirmed for September 5, 2017

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group announced that Monsters, the second downloadable themed content pack for LEGO Worlds, will be available in October for $3.99. The Monsters Pack adds Monster Town, a peculiar place full of scary quests, terrifying creatures, haunted houses and ghastly vehicles sure to send chills down players’ spines. In Monster Town, Halloween is celebrated every day! But delinquent zombies are taking their trick-or-treating a bit too seriously. Players must use their LEGO brick building skills to repair the damage and scare away the zombies with tricks of their own.

It was also confirmed that LEGO Worlds will be coming to Nintendo Switch on September 5 and is available for pre-order. The physical version, priced at $39.99, will include two bonus packs of premium DLC, Classic Space released in July and the upcoming Monsters. The digital version, priced at $29.99, includes the base game with the DLC available separately on the eShop. Both premium DLC packs will be available on all other platforms.

LEGO Worlds, a galaxy of imaginative worlds made of digital LEGO bricks where players can explore, discover and create together, is currently available for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, and STEAM.

Ming the Monsterous

Photo-A-Day #3080

We are continuing to create monsters for our massive back yard monster hunt. I’ve been working with Eva on this project for an article for the Cooper and Kid blog where I write on the topic of Play. I’ve gotten a ton of toy blasters that are nerf or nerf-like over the past few years and so we are going to pool them all together and hunt the monsters that we create. I posted this one to Facebook and someone said that it looked like Ming the Merciless from Flash Gordon. so I named him Ming the Monsterous.

Project Monster Mash

I’ve been working on a project for a column for the Cooper and Kid online eZine called Catch. I write the column called Play. Coming up with ideas for projects has been challenging and fun at the same time. An upcoming column will be called Monster Mash. I’ve been collecting bits of cardboard so that Eva and I could draw and color a bunch of monsters. I’m going to put them onto little stakes and plant them around the back yard so that we can take our toy arsenal on a monster hunt. I’ve got a ton of dart guns, water pellet guns and more. Once we have a full stable of monsters we’ll go on our hunt and I’ll write that post for Cooper and Kid.

Monsters University Acceptance Letter

Monsters, Inc. came out right after I finished college or rather after I finished my 5 additional years in college after graduation. I spent the year right after graduation as a program assistant and then spent the four years after that as a Residence Hall Director. It is high time that I go back to college. Luckily I was accepted into the Monsters University Orientation Program and will be going back to school this April 8-10. I’ll be learning all about the classes at Monsters University like Scarenomics 101, Advanced Growling and Tether-ball, monsters love tether-ball.

Okay so maybe I won’t be attending Monsters University but I will be flying out to San Francisco to a Blogger Event surrounding the upcoming Pixar movie, Monsters University. Here is the tentative schedule of what I’ll be doing. Continue reading I Received my Acceptance Letter #MonstersUEvent
