Mr. Potato Head Mix & Mash Optimus Prime

We were sent an Optimus Prime themed Mr. Potato Head Mix & Mash toy to play with and review. Opinions expressed are 100% our own.

When I went to Toy Fair 2014 I was able to get a first look at the Mr. Potato Head Mix & Mash line. These smaller Mr. Potato head figures are a two inch scale figure with various Marvel and Transformers costumes to put on. We received the Optimus prime one which included Optimus’ helmet, arms and chest, feet, smokestacks, truck cab and truck body. That is everything you would need to play with Optimus as a truck or a robot and even in between transformations as shown in the image above. I think one of the greatest features of a Mr. Potato Head is the ability to customize the toy. When you look at where this simple toy came from to where it is today there is no mistaking the possibilities for expansion and extended game play. Chris Brogan talks about giving your ideas handles. Mr. Potato Head gets that right by designing parts and pieces that appeal to many different people, from Disney, Sport, Transformers and Even Star Wars fans there is a Mr. Potato Head for everyone.
