Andrew has been doing a fantastic job working on his potty training. He has done so well that he has earned a trip to Build-A-Bear Workshop. He has wanted a Toothless plush. I’m not sure why Toothless was the thing that he wanted but he was all over it and was motivated to do well in order to earn it. He was very cute while he created his new stuffed animal. I’ve been thinking a lot about what drives people to do things in their life. Are they motivated by fame, money, fear… What is the incentive for me to get out of bed at 5:00am each morning and drive an hour to work, get in a 20 – 30 minute workout, work an 8 1/2 day and drive another hour home. It is basically a 12 hour day with about 20-30 minutes of productive time for self. I’m really thinking hard about what incentive there is to do that day in and day out. Continue reading Incentive→
