Today was Eva’s First Communion. The day turned out perfect. The rain held off and we had beautiful weather. Luckily, also, the loud neighbors were also quiet for the day. The ceremony was excellent. Fr. Dave always does a wonderful job with the kids. Eva had been nervous about the ceremony but she did an amazing job. She did part of the Prayer of the Faithful. Eva is so poised and well spoken. I am so proud of her.
Went out and sat in the driveway used my leg as a tripod because I left the real one at the Cape. Didn’t do so hot on the fireworks but liked this one of the church and cars going by. 8 second on the shutter at 8 aperture. I moved to 3 seconds for the fireworks which came out really funky. Not good by any means but interesting enough to post because of the swirly colors. Check them out on Flickr. My Handheld Fireworks photos.
