I am so excited that I can finally reveal that I worked with Disney to create the Captain Marvel Glider. This paper glider will let you and your kids go Higher, Further, Faster around the house and outside. This glider design is one that I used to fold up and throw so much when I was a kid. I’d fold up the glider and then color it in with my own designs. You can download the glider with the button below. Just click to download the .pdf with all the instructions and the printable Captain Marvel template.
You can also get the individual steps below to create your own glider.
STEP 1. – Print out the Captain Marvel template with the button above.
STEP 2. – Turn paper over to the unprinted side.
STEP 3. – Fold paper down from top right corner to left side so right side of paper forms a right angle to left side of paper.
STEP 4. – Fold top left corner of paper down to the right side of paper forming a little house with a pointed roof.
STEP 5. – Fold the paper in half lengthwise. Make a nice crisp fold.
STEP 6. – Unfold paper and then fold the top point down until it touches the previous fold. This gives the glider a blunt nose.
STEP 7. – Fold paper back in half again.
STEP 8. – Fold down wings. About a 1/2 inch to an inch up fro the center crease fold the paper down to form two wings. This will be the part you will hold to throw the glider.
STEP 9. – Outer Tips of Wings: Fold outer wings up about 1/4 of an inch.
STEP 10. Optional Step: You may opt to put a paperclip on the nose of the glider to keep it together and give it some extra weight and keep the body together tighter. A bit of tape does the trick as well.
Get on out there and pick up Captain Marvel today on digital and on Blu-ray™ and 4K Ultra HD™ tomorrow.
Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that introduces the MCU’s first stand-alone, female-franchise title character—Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel. When we first meet Danvers, she already possesses her superhero powers, having left her earthly life behind and become a member of an intergalactic elite Kree military team called Starforce, led by their enigmatic commander, Yon-Rogg. But after Danvers has trained and worked with the Starforce team, and become a valued member, she finds herself back on Earth with new questions about her past. While on Earth she quickly lands on the radar of Nick Fury, and they must work together against a formidable enemy in the form of the Skrulls—the notorious Marvel bad guys made even more dangerous by their shape-shifting abilities—and their leader, Talos, who is spearheading a Skrull invasion of Earth.
