NICKELODEON’S NICK JR. APP LAUNCHES ON ANDROID AND EXPANDS TO GOOGLE PLAY AND AMAZON

NEW YORK–Sept. 9, 2016 – The top-ranked Nick Jr. App is now available on Android, launching with hundreds of episodes from preschoolers’ favorite Nickelodeon shows and a selection of interactive games. The App features full-length episodes, educational games and short-form videos that allow kids to safely interact with and learn from their favorite Nickelodeon preschool characters anytime and anywhere, with even more on-demand episodes available via TV Everywhere authentication through participating TV providers.

Designed specifically with preschoolers in mind, the Nick Jr. App offers a variety of content that updates weekly, including educational activities, alphabet buttons that trigger pop-up surprises, and over 100 short-form videos including curriculum moments, music videos, funny mashups, and exclusive first looks. Throughout the App experience, kids will engage with characters from the network’s top-rated preschool series such as Blaze and the Monster Machines, Shimmer and Shine, PAW Patrol, Bubble Guppies and Team Umizoomi while boosting their reading, motor and problem-solving skills.
