Photo-A-Day #1755
Looking for inspiration for my photos today I turned to one of my favorite toys, LEGO. I was shooting photos of the miniman character while laying on the floor. Every time I would try and take the shot Duncan would come over to the minifig and paw at it to knock it over. I was using a long exposure and caught the ghosting of the cat creeping up swatting the minifig and stalking away. So if you look close you can see the top of the minifigs head at the feet of the fig. It is one of those sorts of moments that you can’t recreate if you try but being ready for it helped me to be ready when Duncan came over to knock over the minifig again.
Today Apple announced their new tablet called iPad. The device is a a 9.7-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen Multi-Touch display. It has some very interesting apps like the bookshelf. What I am wondering is will the iPad be able to use the Kindle App? If so then that is pretty cool because if I was to get one then I could use the iPad and Allison could use the Kindle and we could share books, although it would be more economical to get a Kindle for Allison, but then we wouldn’t be able to share books. Okay, I really want a cool piece of tech. I’d need to look at more about this device to see if it would even be worth a purchase. Of course that would be after we get on track from FPU.
Did you get back up again?
Yes there is a a kindle app.

Lenny,
I have the Kindle app on mu ipod touch but was wondering if it would still work on the iPad because it might compete with the bookshelf app.
Yes it’s really pretty cool. The iPad. The photo is pretty nifty too. Good job.

Deborah,
I agree, the iPad does look pretty nifty. MY mom was excited about it for baby boomers.
