Day two of vacation on the Cape. We got up this morning, early. Luckily, I went to bed early as well. I was still a bit tired, though. Shelby was here with the kids this morning. I received some new Dino Construction Company toys from Educational Insights to play with and review. I brought them down for the kids to play with. They included a Rocko the Styracosaurus Dump Truck, Helix the Stegosaurus Cement Mixer and Snap the Raptor Forklift. The kids enjoyed playing very much. These new trucks have been added to our already large stable of Dino Construction Company toys. We have the four original ones already and they are great. Andrew went and did his own version of the Raptor Training.
In addition to the trucks there are now figures and there is also a 20-piece Build & Smash set. These new trucks are smaller than the original four but now they have construction worker figure. The construction workers look like anthropomorphic dinosaurs. The Build & Smash set has pipes and rocks and barrels and jersey barriers. The rocks open in to reveal fossils.
These new trucks have rolling wheels instead of tracks. They do have dino tracks on the wheels.
One of Andrew’s favorite trucks is Snap, the raptor. He liked making the jaws open and close on the rocks and pipes.
We are excited to have these toys for the kids to play with. They were very excited about playing with these together and I can see these become more important to the kids as they play with them every year. These will be those special toys that they will remember when they have grown up and have kids of their own like the Fisher Price Adventure People from my own childhood.
Hi Drew, it looks like you’re having lots of fun in your family, your kids are very cute. good luck!!
