The Hundred-Foot Journey looks like a delicious trip for Foodies everywhere. The story is about two restaurants 100 feet from each other. One, an established, highest rated restaurant with traditional French cuisine. The other, a new, family run, Indian restaurant. What starts as a rivalry builds to a war and then softens as the proprietor of the French restaurant takes the son from the Indian restaurant under her wing and begins to appreciate his natural talent with food. Today was a very full day at the PBS Annual Meeting. I got to see previews of so many of the upcoming programs for 2014-2015. There are many that I would really like to see, too.
We also went for a little field trip off to Pottery Barn Kids because they are teaming up with PBS Kids for a Summer Reading program. We met an author and enjoyed some specialty drinks and snacks int he store. I made a custom nameplate for a book for Eva. It was a nice little field trip.
We went to Le Garage in Sausalito for dinner. This was a great location. It was right on the water at a marina. I got today’s shot there and a very nice dinner. More great conversation.
