Today Allison and I went to Shelburne Farms with some folks from Zeta. There was our friends Amy and Ryan and their son Mason, Beth, Megan, Rachel and her daughter DiDi. I spent quite a bit of time photographing Mason and his Mom and Dad. Mason was fascinated with my tripod and I showed him how to work it and let him use my Canon SD800is camera. He took quite a few photos and they were pretty good too.
I was going to take a family portrait of Amy, Ryan and Mason on the beach but we couldn’t coordinate it. But we came up with this photo idea today. I had them swinging Mason around over and over, he loved it. What was great was that the three of them all got laughing and enjoying the fun. Doesn’t it look like fun.
I also took a ton of photos, edited them this afternoon and when I save the photos back to my memory card after editing I ended up losing the edited photos. I need to work on them again tomorrow. Here are two that survived.
This was the group shot. I took it with the timer on my camera and tripod. Then Mason and I would hit the timer run to the group and then run back. I called it “Magic Photos”, Mason seemed to like that description.
I also took this shot of Ryan and Mason on an old John Deer Tractor. Mason loves tractors and I was glad to get this shot of Father and Son
