I received a 5-hour ENERGY® variety pack and gift card so that I could attempt to create a yummy, enjoyable drink. Opinions are 100% my own and all product information was provided.

I work a crazy 12-hour overnight shift and occasionally I don’t get enough sleep prior to the shift. Flipping your body’s whole sleep cycle each week isn’t always smooth. So, occasionally I need a little something extra to keep me awake and alert for the entire shift. I was asked to if I would like to create my own yummy drink using 5-hour ENERGY®. I received a variety pack of 5-hour ENERGY® shots with assorted regular strength flavors. I looked through all the flavors and decided that I would use the berry flavor to use in my drink. Every Bite Takes You Home – The Hundred-Foot Journey #FoodieFriday

Last week I had the great fortune to see the movie The Hundred-Foot Journey and also have a cooking lesson at Le Cordon Bleu. It was fantastic and magical and amazing. the food we made was spectacular and the food that was made for us was even better. One of the themes of the movie is that Every Bite Takes You Home. Is there some food that brings back a memory for you? Allison teases me that every story I have revolves around food. I love food and I have food memories that take me back to experiences. I’ll be talking about just what food is the one that takes me back to one of my favorite memories ever in a post later this week when I talk about my experience with the movie and with the trip to Le Cordon Bleu.
