I got a late start on my drive to La Grande, OR. I stopped at a truck stop for a hearty breakfast. I soaked in the sights and sounds of the truckers and people on hand to serve their needs. I am always fascinated by the things that you can buy in a truck stop. Unfortunately I was looking for a wire to connect my iPod to the AUX port in my rental car. That way I could listen to my podcasts during the 3+ hour drive that was ahead of me today and is ahead of me again tomorrow afternoon. I’ll have to find a Target or a Wal-Mart. I have finally gotten a chance to watch this podcast. I don’t like it. There is something very off putting about the way the show is shot. It is too glam, the set and the makeup and that shiny lip balm are distracting. Natali Del Conte, the host, never quite looks at the camera and the angles that are shot are strange. It looks like she is having a conversation with someone off camera and I find it weird. I keep wondering, who is she talking to?
I gave this show a shot. I downloaded all the 18 current episodes and watched them. I am not going to subscribe to this show any longer. I just can’t get into it and I did my time.
