A couple of on line friends are already participating in this on line Photography contest and I wouldn’t want anyone who had a shot at winning to miss out. There are many categories including one for cute baby pictures. It is not strictly a baby photo contest though. There are many more categories to choose from.
I learned about a website called Vlip on GeekBrief.tv. I finally got around to checking it out. Not sure exactly what to make of it. Basically you record video of yourself with a webcam on whatever topics you would like and people can respond to those Vlips that you made. But you have to be 18 and older to use it. I think that the target market for this would be 15-18 year olds as the point of this is lost on an old geezer like myself. And I couldn’t imagine wanting to use this beyond 18 years old.
Okay just watched another Vlip, basically it is like a forum but instead of Text it is in video form. Oh, that could get dangerous especially with the rants and flames. I think that we can censor ourselves better in writing than speaking.
But what is weird is they have a text based forum as well. Isn’t the point of Vlip to replace text based forums?
