When the Spring arrives I will get back on my inline skates. A couple of years ago I was able to go to Disney and participate in the inline skating 1/2 marathon. We got to skate through the park and along the roads before anyone else came to the park. I liked it much more than the 1/2 marathon because I was able to finish the inline skating event.
I do much of my research online, even about the sports I enjoy. I took a look at Inline Planet and their website. What I found there was a great site with some awesome features like the group skate mapper. I am usually the only skater that I know of besides Allison so getting out with other people is a great idea. I may even try and set up a group skate on the Cape this summer. The one thing I would like to see improved or changed is that list of skates go by state rather than by city or town. I think that would be easier to navigate.
Navigation of the site should be more consistent. The main page is good with all the different topics as well as the ability to do a Google search of the site. I had to use the back button a few times but the content was well worth it. The content is where this site shines. There are skating tips for all levels of athlete. Whether you are a beginner or an expert you can find great information at Inline Planet. There is also information on gear, exercise and trainers.
