Bye, Bye Plane… PAD #1165

Bye, Bye Plane... PAD #1165

Allison and Eva are safely in Florida for the week. I drove them in to Boston, helped them check in and waited till they got through security. I was holding my breath through the security line because Allison had food for Eva and that is okay to bring with you on a flight but you never know the whims of the TSA. But they got through fine, Eva disarmed everyone with her smiles.

They flew out this morning and landed around 2:00pm. Eva was so good on the flight too. She wasn’t going around saying “Bye, Bye plane” like that smart ass 4 year old who got kicked off the plane. Can you believe that, how ridiculous can this world get when a parent of a small child is told to shut her child up, feed him some children’s benedryl so he will stop saying “Bye Bye Airplane”. Was it that much of a problem? I’ve been on planes where children have been out of control and nothing has been done. This kid says a short phrase and gets kicked off. I mean, was he saying it like the kid in the shining said “Red Rum”, I wonder. Either way it was another ridiculous thing on an airplane. Now we will probably get pamphlets that tell us what phrases we can no longer say on the plane. Thanks kid.

So Allison and Eva are gone and already the fridge looks like a bachelor lives at the house. I mean, take a look at the condiment to edible food ratio. Can you see any edible food? Sure there are pickles and olives but that is about it. Looks like I also need to do some cleaning of the fridge while it is rather empty. The Fisheye Lens needs to go back tomorrow so I wanted to take a couple last shots with the camera, unfortunately I only had time to take the one above. Gotta get to bed and get some rest.

Also wanted to mention two things. Elizabeth at Table For Five gave me an internet award because my artistic talent inspires her. Thanks Elizabeth.

I got a sandwich at lunch that was presented in such an uninspired way that it inspired me to write my latest guest post on the IZEA blog, all about presentation.

I also started a post for a meme that Courtney tagged me for. And that does not give anyone else license to tag me, if you were unsure of how I feel about tagging memes let me put the record straight, I don’t like them. But Courtney challenged me so I’ve got my work cut out for me. 31 questions, sheesh.

A Big Thank You…

This last month and part of this month I went around the internet looking for people who would be willing to help me out on a little project. I was looking for photographs of people holding up signs of hope for a family that is in need of some hope and cheer. I even put together a Spark on Social Spark and two people took up the call. I would like to publicly thank Sybil Amber and Endure for their great posts.

Sybil Amber wrote all about the project as well as the website that I had asked each person to write about. She even sent me one of the photos for the video that I made for the family. Her post titled Hopes for us was very well done and I hope that you take a look at her blog. Sybil lost her parents to cancer many years ago, when she was still young. She says that we are all in need of hope.

Endure’s blog post was titled Hope, The Kind That Endure Digs! was also very well done. He included an awesome shot of himself his girlfriend and a best friend after he had started Endure. Endure was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2006. He is currently clear but he is still try to get the word out to people about health and cancer prevention. Sounds like a good mission.

Endure

There are many other bloggers that I would like to thank as well and I will do so in time. Sybil and Endure went above and beyond to get the word out so this is a shout just for them.
