Today was Andrew’s First Birthday Party. His actual birthday is on Thanksgiving day so we are a little early. Friends and family came to celebrate with us. Andrew was looking all dapper in his Argyle sweater vest and fancy shoes. We made sure to cover him up when he ate his dinner and his cake though.
Allison baked him a special “Smash Cake”. I guess that this is the big thing right now. Even the cake that we ordered from BJs could be made into a smaller “Smash Cake” for Andrew. Almost three years have passed since the original Prep & Landing Christmas Special aired on ABC. I was so impressed with the movie that it quickly became my all time favorite Christmas related special. I loved everything about it. The characters were funny, the technology and how it was Christmas themed was smart and it was a good story. Then in 2011 a sequel to the special came out called Prep & Landing: Naughty vs Nice. This time Wayne and Lanny team up with a coal elf to stop a kid from taking their name off the naughty list and ruining Christmas. A nice follow up to the original special.
