For the Love of Frozen Waffles

Photo-A-Day #2905

Caught Andrew reaching for a frozen waffle.

Took Andrew to swimming today. He enjoys being int he water but hasn’t quite gotten the concept of moving his arms and legs to swim a bit. He does hold the side of the pool and climb out pretty well. He doesn’t do too badly jumping. I do have to say 1-2-3 quickly though because he wants to get back in really quickly. He enjoys it though and has fun, I have fun too. It completely knocks him out afterwards though. I can take him home and he sleeps the whole way. He even sleeps on my shoulder as I bring him into the house and up to his bed. I love holding a sleeping child.

Been working on getting all of our existing Skylanders completely upgraded through Heroic challenges. I’ve done almost every one of the new Giants figures (down to finishing Ninjini). I’ve got a bunch of series two figures to upgrade and then on Easter Eva’s getting a couple more figures so I think we’re at about 30 left to upgrade, that is before any new ones come out. We’ve got six left to find in the wild.

Betaspring Open House with Shuttercal

Photo-A-Day #2904

Tonight I went into Providence to Betaspring to their Open House. Betaspring is a mentorship program for startups to accelerate them to the next level. Look at the top of this post and see that my Photo-A-Day image is hosted on Shuttercal and my friends from Shuttercal are one of the startups in the program. I am so excited for Scott, Kim, Dan and Andy. It was so great to meet those guys and also to meet friend of the blog, Justin Hunt who has been very active on this blog and is a great Shuttercal user. It was awesome to meet everyone and hang out with really fun people.
