Said goodbye to a good friend tonight. Though we lost touch over the years the touch of loss I feel makes the years disappear. I pray for his wife and daughter. I pray for his parents and sister. I pray for all those who were touched by his life. Godspeed, Michael.
We had a wonderful dinner tonight with one of Allison’s former co-workers and good friend, Peg. She came over and we grilled up some Balsamic Glazed Steak Rolls and had Angle Hair pasta with Lobster (Shaws had them for only $4.99 lb, how could I pass that up) and also corn on the cob. It was a delicious meal. The kids had fun and Peg enjoyed their antics. It was a nice night.
