The other morning after Church I went to my car and there was a box on it with two cameras. One of them was a Revere Eight Model Fifty. This is an eight millimeter movie camera. It is also still in working order. I finally looked at it this morning when I dropped Eva off at school. She asked me all sorts of questions about it, too. She was fascinated about film, what it was and how it worked. It made her ask more questions about the LEGO movie that she is working on.
I love these old cameras. Look at those manual controls. There are basically two settings, there is a switch to change the between two speeds. You can also change the f-stops. The camera is more sophisticated than I would have though it to be. I love that it only needs to be wound up to work, too. Cool mechanics.
