A new app has been released today from Disney. It is called Disney Movies Anywhere. This app syncs with your iTunes account to collect all of your Disney, Pixar and Marvel movies in one place. Do you have a Blu-ray copy of a movie that came with a Digital Copy? If so, then that movie will appear in your library on Disney Movies Anywhere. Did you buy a copy of a digital movie, like say, Frozen when it came out today? That movie will also appear in your Disney Movies Anywhere app. What is nice is that you can access and download each of your Disney digital movies through the app quickly and easily. I downloaded the app and connected my Disney Movie Rewards account to my iTunes account and all of the digital movies that I have redeemed so far appeared on the app. Super simple, plus I got a free copy of The Incredibles to add to my collection. Here is a video that explains this a little better.
We received a copy of Slugterra: Heroes of the Underground to watch and review. Opinions are 100% our own.
The series begins to really delve into the past with Will Shane and what sort of secrets he had. We meet characters who have ties to Will Shane. Eli gets some new allies in the Shadow Clan. The Shane gang becomes more of a tighter unit as Eli confides in the team his most precious secret, he reveals that he came from the surface. So much happens in these five episodes to move the overall story along.
In a series with such colorful characters and a rich backstory and character development I am saddened that it has not gotten the love it deserves. The toys were non-existent at Toy Fair this year and what ones that have been released aren’t that good (the slugs are great but the blasters and action figures are weak). I look forward to all of the episodes being released and also for the upcoming movie. I hope that that movie helps jumpstart an interest in the series again. If only Disney XD would play the entire series all the way through I think that more people would get on board. In the meantime you can get the first 20 episodes which span seasons 1 and 2.
