Disney/Pixar’s INSIDE OUT teaser Trailer

Disney Pixar Inside Out

We only get the briefest of moments with this upcoming Disney/Pixar movie. It is scheduled to be out in theaters on June 19.2015 and we are going someplace brand new for Disney/Pixar, into the mind of a young girl. Inside her mind we will meet the emotions that guide her life. The thing that is most exciting for me is to see Lewis Black play the emotion of Anger.

From an adventurous balloon ride above the clouds to a monster-filled metropolis, Academy Award®-winning director Pete Docter (“Monsters, Inc.,” “Up”) has taken audiences to unique and imaginative places. In Disney•Pixar’s original movie “ Inside Out,” he will take us to the most extraordinary location of all—inside the mind.

Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it’s no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

An Afternoon Visit with Auntie Tara

Photo-A-Day #3467

Today after school my sister, Tara came for a quick visit. The kids bombarded her with the need for attention the minute she arrived. Andrew wanted to show her the things that he can do and Eva wanted to talk about her Halloween costume. Eva wants to be a Dragon Queen. She wants to be that because she has a small wrist dragon that she got at King Richard’s Faire.

The kids then decided that they wanted to rake leaves. I got them some rakes and a broom and a bag. They picked up one bag worth of leaves with auntie Tara. I don’t think that Tara was expecting to be put to work by the kids when she came over but they had a fun time. Andrew was adorable in giant gloves trying to pick up leaves. Then the three of them sat on the back porch stairs and I grabbed my camera to capture a photo of them. Andrew gave his most recent signature look when he turned around.
