Seashore Life

Photo-A-Day #3752

Eva’s last day at Children’s School of Science was today. With the last fifteen minutes of class there was an Open House. I was able to go to the Seashore Life classroom and Eva showed me, and my parents, around. She showed us the things that she made and also the fish tanks that they had in the room where they kept the fish and other organisms that they found when they were out on their excursions. Eva caught some mole crabs yesterday and she was very proud about that.

She made a bunch of stuff as well like a T-shirt and some animals with Model Magic clay. She also made a fun little jellyfish.

When Eva and I got home Allison’s friend Elise was there with her husband and three kids. Her oldest is older than Eva and then the middle child a little younger than Eva. Then Andrew and then the baby who was two. The kids had a great time running around and having fun with each other. They all became fast friends. I of course had to go to work.

Spending Time on Woods Hole

Photo-A-Day #3751

For the past few weeks Eva has been taking a class in Woods Hole. It was smack dab in the middle of the day so we’d come down, drop her off and see if we could find a parking spot. If we could find a spot we’d go to the aquarium or Coffee O. Andrew got his fill of the aquarium. He loved seeing the Grouper, or as he calls it, the Groupah! That is one really large fish. I enjoyed the Lionfish.

We did the walk around and then a stop at Coffee O and then went to the school so Andrew could play on the playground.

We spent our afternoon with the kids at the beach. Some of my mom’s friends came up with their kids. We enjoyed pizza and had a very early night to sleep. Wiped out and ready to head home. Eva is nervous and sad about her last day at Science School.
