Andrew with Skateboarding Mikey

We received this XPV® RC Skateboarding Mikey from Jakks Pacific to play with and review. Opinions are 100% our own.

One really fun time with Andrew was playing with the XPV® RC Skateboarding Mikey on an empty basketball court on a beautiful Spring Day. This toy is huge. It is Michelangelo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on a skateboard and he spins and does wheelies and even rights himself when he falls, or gets knocked over. All the while he is saying a bunch of his signature phrases and showing that attitude that makes him one of the most loved Turtles.

Our Skateboarding Mikey

We had a blast with this toy. It went pretty fast and all the spins and wheelies were done well. I had to goose it a bit to get Mikey to get back up but he didn’t actually fall, or got knocked, over until later in the playtime after we had blasted through the batteries. So he may have been a little tired getting back up, but he got back up. This was an all around fun toy to play with and I look forward to more time out with Andrew playing with Skateboarding Mikey. Andrew also enjoyed controlling the toy. It is perfectly simple and accessible for a four year old.

Dylan’s 3rd Birthday Party on Cape Cod

Shelby Tim and the Kids
Photo-A-Day #4064

We headed to Cape Cod today to celebrate the 3rd birthday for my nephew, Dylan. It was the first Memorial Day Weekend day I’ve taken off in a long time. I have always worked that weekend because I’m off the rest of the week and there isn’t any much point in taking off the day. I’m glad I did this year. I really enjoy getting to go to these birthday parties. My sister,, Shelby, does an amazing job decorating and creating an overall theme. This year was sports. She made a ton of cupcakes that looked like different sports balls like baseball, basketball, soccer and football. Then she arranged them in the shape of a 3 and also included a plate of candy dipped Oreos that also looked like sports balls.

At the party the kids had a great time. There were a bunch of other little kids and older kids to play with. Andrew had some older girls to follow around. He does enjoy playing games with any of the older girls. But them he is also incredibly sweet with his cousin Kylie. He kept going and getting more pieces of watermelon to share with Kylie. He must have shared 3 slices with her.
