Today is World Turtle Day. And Since the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are turtles then it is so fitting that they should be celebrating today as well. I have a couple of fun things to share with you regarding the upcoming movie, launching June 3rd. In this second Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie we see the Turtles pitted against Shredder and his two new mutants, BeBop and RockSteady. They are a couple of thugs that have been mutated into a giant warthog and Rhino. They aren’t the only ones giving the Turtles a hard time. There is also the evil Krang, a living brain monster from Dimension X.

The Turtles are once again joined my ace reporter, April O’Neil and her cameraman. However, this time they have even more help in the form of vigilante Casey Jones, played by the awesome Stephen Amell of ‘Arrow’. So for World Turtle Day I have a couple of downloadables including a couple of .pfd files including TMNT Mask Cutouts and a TMNT Word Find.

WORLD TURTLE DAY is celebrated around the globe in a variety of ways. This year, we are adding an additional layer to the holiday by partnering with the Ad Council on their “I Am a Witness” campaign for June’s National Safety Month. The Turtles are often viewed as a symbol of courage and doing the right thing, even in the face of adversity, supporting one another for a safer, bully-free world.
