Star Wars: The Last Jedi Premiere Images And New Featurette

Star Wars The Last Jedi PremiereOn Friday Brian from Built from Bricks and I will be seeing Star Wars: The Last Jedi. I cannot wait to see this movie. Two years ago when Star Wars: The Force Awakens came out I was able to see a sneak preview of the movie and it was fantastic. I was so excited to see a new, and really well done, Star Wars movie. I am not a fan of the prequels but these sequels have been very entertaining. Or rather, one sequel and a stand alone movie that tied right in to A New Hope. Last year’s Rogue One was a such a great movie and the characters were fantastic. I especially liked Baze Malbus and Chirrut Imwe.

Well, on December 10th the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi happened and it was an incredible pull out all the stops event. Stars Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro were joined by writer/director Rian Johnson and producers Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman for a walk down the red carpet where they greeted enthusiastic fans at the world premiere of Lucasfilm’s STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI. This looks like it was an amazing event. They had Storm Troopers, Imperial Guards and more also walking the red carpet. How fun is that!

Some friends of mine went on a trip to interview the cast of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and were also on hand for a large press conference with the cast. they didn’t see the movie but they had a once in a lifetime trip none-the-less. I look forward to sharing with you the thoughts I have on the movie once I see it on Friday morning with Brian. But until then I can watch this new featurette all about the new worlds in STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI:

DreamWorks Animation Television and Netflix Announce Six New Original Kids’ Series for 2018 #StreamTeam

Branch and Poppy

It looks like DreamWorks Animation has been really hard at work lately. They have just announced six all new original series to debut on Netflix in 2018. These are series for kids including
Trolls: The Beat Goes On! on January 19, 2018, She-Ra, The Boss Baby: Back in Business, Harvey Street Kids, The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants, Trollhunters Part 3! and also tied to Trollhunters is 3 Below. 3 Below is the second installment of the Tales of Arcadia trilogy from Guillermo del Toro. I’m really excited about this series as well as She-Ra. I hope that She-Ra is great because I think Eva would enjoy it very much if it is done well. I shouldn’t be too worries since DreamWorks Animation has put out some pretty incredible stuff lately, especially those things from my childhood like Voltron and new classic like Trollhunters. Trollhunters is one of the best shows on Netflix that has come out in a while. I cannot wait to see what the whole Tales of Arcadia trilogy will look like. There is a lot coming and it all looks cool.

One of the first things that is begin released (After Trollhunters season 2 this Friday, that is) will be Trolls: The Beat Goes On! on January 19, 2018 and you can see it first in the trailer below.
