Soccer has never been my thing. I played as a kid because that is what every other kid’s parents were signing their kids up for. The same went for baseball and basketball. I’m not a sports guy. But, I do like a sports movie. I’m such a sucker for those inspirational sports movies. I was looking through my email and Eva was over my shoulder and asked me what the image above was for and I explained it was for a movie that I could review. She seemed pretty interested so I decided that we would do the review and giveaway.

We watched the movie as a family and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. In the movie young Regan knocks her head and starts seeing Alex Morgan who begins to train her to work hard and become better at soccer. They could have gone the whole zany angle but did not. This was a very earnest movie that had excellent heart and characters. It is a great family movie and appropriate for all ages in my opinion. I also got a bit teared up because that is what happens with me and sports movies. This one was a definite win!
