I have now seen Christopher Robin two and 3/4 times. I say 2 3/4 times because the most recent time was at home with the whole family after I had come home from a trip and was about to head back to work for the weekend. I saw all the beginning that told the story of Christopher growing up, quickly, and then falling in love with Evelyn. Then he has to go off to war and leave his pregnant wife home. He returns several years later to meet his daughter for the first time. The movie picks up with Christopher working for a luggage company. Responsibilities of his job keep him from spending time with his family. He has lost his ability to play. He has grown up and forgotten his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. That is until he is reminded of them and a visit from Winnie the Pooh changes his life.
I truly loved this movie when I first saw it. It completely hit home for me as a working father who occasionally takes trips without the family. Continue reading Review: Christopher Robin is Now on Blu-ray
