Chex Cereal sent me a huge box of Chex Cereals and ingredients for free to make so many Chex Mixes. Opinions are my own.
With Christmas coming there are a bunch of fantastic movies to re-watch again. Chex Mix is a great snack to have while watching these movies and thanks to Chex Cereals I have several new ones to choose from. Each movie has a mix to go with it.
For the movie Elf we have Buddy The Elf Sweet Maple Chex Mix. This is the mix that was made in the photo above. Chex even pulled out the stops and got us some amazing B & E’s Trees Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup. They have a unique story and amazing taste. Personally, maple is for pancakes and waffles in my mind. Allison and the kids do love it on everything.
The mix I want to make is Clark Griswold Nuthouse Chex Mix. My favorite Christmas movie is Christmas Vacation and the recipe calls for Rice or Corn Chex. I’d like to put in the Peanut Butter Chex for this one, though.
They even have mixes for The Polar Express and A Christmas Story (my second favorite Christmas movie). These two mixes, The A Christmas Story Rich Chocolate Chex Mix and The Polar Express Hot Chocolate Chex Mix both use Chocolate Chex. I love Chocolate Chex. Allison is going to love the Christmas Story one because she loves malted milk balls and well, I am not a fan. I do appreciate, however, that they took a cue from the movie and went with the whole malted milk theme. That is impressive.
They even sent me a personalized towel. That was very nice!
