Talking DobbyWelcome to my 2019 Video Holiday Gift Guide! This is a guide for parents to find great toys for their children for the holiday season. My friends at Wow! Stuff sent me a free Talking Dobby Plush to include in the Holiday Gift Guide. Opinions are my own.

Dobby is one of the more beloved characters in Harry Potter. This plush is official Harry Potter merchandise authorized and licensed by Warner Bros. Wow! Stuff does a great job of recreating props and more from the Harry Potter movies. They have made a very special Dobby here that looks like Dobby from the movies. He can sit or stand and measures at 40cm tall. Then you can press on his tummy and hear 6 different phrases including the iconic, “Master has given Dobby a sock”.

Review: Playtime with Luigi’s Mansion 3

I am very excited by the new Luigi’s Mansion 3 from Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. I was very lucky that Nintendo sent me a free copy of the game along with an official Luigi Plushie and Luigi Green Mushrooms candy from Sugarfina and also a Luigi hat and a mustache for dress-up fun. The game came out on Halloween and arrived at my house that day.

I’ve been playing the game ever since that night and I have to say, I like it a lot more than the 3DS game that came out a while back. I love playing on the Switch. The game looks amazing and there are many funny things happening as long as you are paying attention. This time Luigi and his friends are invited to the Last Resort Hotel which is a towering structure. Once he arrives though he and his pals, Mario, Peach and Toad are all captured Luigi is able to get free and now must save his friends. He also has to recapture all the ghosts that he has captured in the past including King Boo! Luckily Luigi has some help from Prof. E. Gadd, Gooigi and the all new Poltergust G-00.

It took me a little while to really get into the game but now I’m hooked. I love using the Poltergust G-00 to suck up everything in every room I find. Then I try to find as many of the special items as I can like gems and such.

what I have not played yet is the all new ScareScraper that lets you play with up to seven other players either locally or online. There are also a bunch of mini-games in the ScreamPark mode. I will be doing some videos about the game at a later date. But, at this time I am enjoying playing and am going to try and save all my friends.
