I noticed on Tuesday that the fence between our house and Whiskey Tango-ville had a big gap. Well, since I did not want to recreate the scene from a Christmas Story where the Bumpeses’ dogs were running rampant over the Christmas dinner I had to shore up the gap. The problem was that this time it was because of the tree growing at the end of our garden. It started growing there when we moved in and I let it go. It would be nice to have a nice new healthy tree giving us some privacy. The tree, however, found the fence to be in the way so it moved the fence. The ground is too hard to go digging any new post holes so for now I have a spare piece of wood spanning the gap with a bungie cord keeping it in place. We’ll have to see what we can do once the Spring comes around.
