I hope that everyone had a good Valentine’s day. Mine was pretty decent. It started off with everyone getting up a little bit late because of our fun night out last night. Allison picked up great cards for the kids and for me. They also got some candy from Allison and from me.

Andrew had a Valentine’s Day party at school. Last week when he was sick we decorated a shoebox. The second grade has everyone decorate a shoebox and fill it with a snack, a juice box and a piece of fruit. Then the kids get their valentines from everyone and they use the box to bring them all home. Andrew was very proud of the box that he made. He added some extra touches to it after we covered it in paper. The kid has a big heart.
