There is nothing that lights up the face of an all American kid than ice cream. Just the thought of having ice cream after a little league game, or on a hot sunny day makes it the only thing you can think about. Now imagine that the ice cream you are craving is Coldstone Creamery ice cream. I first discovered Coldstone a couple of years ago on the road. At the time they had not been in my neck of the woods but that error has since been corrected. At Coldstone you select your flavor(s) of ice cream as well as mix ins. The cheerful and musically inclined staff then makes your ice cream custom. They also have a ton of signature flavors if you are not in the mood to create your own. No matter what you chose it is going to be delicious.

I have always wanted to make my own signature flavor and each time I go in I try something new that I create. If I was a lot younger I would certainly enter the Awesome Coldstone Contest that is happening. I looked over the rules and everything is pretty straightforward. But there are two things you need to know. First you must be 13-19 to participate. The other thing is that the deadline for submission is midnight June 5, 2008.
