While I was grilling a roast tonight I looked up at the sky and the clouds were both white and pink. The pink clouds were flying along while the white ones were staying still. It was pretty and cool. I wish I was somewhere that I could have seen it from a much better vantage point. I’ll have to get somewhere else on the next night where it has an amazing sky.
As for the roast I bought a roast the other day on my shopping trip and I had the idea to slow cook it on the grill. I covered it with a Stubbs rub overnight. I put it on low on the gas grill for a few hours and then transferred it to the charcoal grill for a few more. I cooked it with indirect heat and I think it came out pretty well.
That is a really pretty picture. I love watching the sky change as evening falls here in the mountains in Truckee, California. Every night it’s a little different and always beautiful. Thanks for sharing 🙂
